i found this lovely mural in montreal very inspiring and awesome.

courtney vanessa arthur: I suppose I've always wanted to write really earth-shattering things. (I'm a Leo and have a tendency to think I know everything.) Now I work in this simultaneously grungy and pretentious health food store in downtown Toronto while studying comparative lit at U of T, and I've worked on some farms and become entangled with various people in all their beautiful madness, and have since discovered that honest writing sometimes comes from the humbling, ugly, or verily mundane contents of the psyche. I appreciate awkwardness and the awareness of irony and the beauty that stems from that awareness.
